During diStraction’s first video intermission, we are warmly introduced to a side of diSiac that few of us have ever seen. There’s no gyrating, popping or spinning; it’s just a modestly angled interview. The guys goof off while the girls charmingly prep for photographer Arjun Jain ’14’s camera.
It’s difficult for me to explain how the Orange and Black Ball made me feel. I’ll admit that it verged on being lame at some points, and yet I found myself content as I walked home afterward.
What you see before you is the log that I kept of my experience in the Frist Food Gallery from the night of Saturday, Oct. 15 to the early morning of Sunday, Oct. 16.
As the last rays of summer sunshine retreat, a crescendo of coughs, hacks and sniffles rises from our lecture halls and resounds through campus. Flu season has arrived.
