2020: An ugly but necessary memory

With two vaccines for COVID-19 entering new phases of testing, a semester on campus, and a new year fast approaching, some people are justifiably itching to move on. These developments should undoubtedly be celebrated, as should the prospect of a fresh start. But, just like my friend, we cannot forget everything we have been through: Instead, should find creative and healthy ways to catalogue all that has happened in 2020.

Forget mindfulness, practice uselessness

If we feel control over how we use our gifts, we will find it easier to come together. 

This is America, but it doesn’t have to be

Young people like us can be that hope. We can do this by creating a cooperative, principled, inclusive, and free politics we can be proud of and with which we can lead the world.

Too little, too late

In this election, and every one going forward, we must recognize that democracy does not survive unless we support it with our creativity, our grit, and our full commitment.

What should now be clear for conservative voters heading to the polls is this: Mitch McConnell is not supporting the President—he’s selling him out. 

Princeton in the nation’s service: requirement not satisfied

In order to live up to its own ideals, Princeton should institute a curricular service requirement for all undergraduates, to be filled in one semester, for a local community partner.
