Known as one of the “four horsemen of the apocalypse” during his tenure on the National Security Council, J. Michael Daniel ’92 defied his moniker at his April 19 talk, emphasizing that dangerous cyber threats can be combated.
On Thursday, Pulitzer Prize winner and University professor of creative writing Jhumpa Lahiri gave a lecture about her personal experience with boundaries and borders through an analysis of avant garde and surrealist artist and writer Leonora Carrington’s paintings and short stories.
The exhibition “Learning to Fight, Fighting to Learn: Education in Times of War,” now on display at the Mudd Library, gives a historical perspective on American wars’ impact on the University. The exhibition includes articles and photographs from the French and Indian War through the Vietnam War, artifacts on the Manhattan Project, as well as personal information about each Princetonian who died in World War II.
