The University will aim to increase enrollment of financial aid-eligible students by three percent. The new recommendations aimed at increasing socioeconomic diversity came out of an ad hoc committee of the Board of Trustees that formed following the Supreme Court’s overturning of affirmative action last year.

“We have been in touch with those affected by this incident to offer [our] support,” Vice Provost for Institutional Equity and Diversity Michele Minter wrote in a statement to The Daily Princetonian.
