Princeton students fundraise, petition, express solidarity with Ukraine following Russian invasion

Among several other motions of support, a group of Russian students distributed a Letter of Solidarity with Ukraine on Feb. 28 and founded an organization called 02.24.2022 in support of Ukraine. The Center for Jewish Life on campus also showed their support through a fundraiser during the Purim holiday on March 16 and 17.

USG report highlights effects of 'Princeton Plague' on student health, academic performance

Of the students surveyed, a vast majority responded that the quality of their academic work suffered (84.7 percent) and that their illnesses impeded their ability to effectively learn material (75.3 percent).

USG creates Viewpoint Diversity Task Force, hears updates on budget, spring elections

In Sunday’s USG meeting, the Senate convened for a budget update and spring elections overview, and to approve student organization events and a Viewpoint Diversity Task Force. Twelve USG members voted in favor of creating the new Task Force, while four abstained and four opposed.

Undergraduate COVID-19 cases hit all-time high as positivity rate increases slightly

On Feb. 28, campus saw the highest single-day positive cases of the pandemic, with the campus-wide COVID-19 positivity rate rising to 2.59 percent during the week ending on Feb. 25, a slight increase from the 2.32 percent reported the week prior.

Princeton inadvertently publishes, then retracts, shift in COVID-19 testing protocol from weekly to monthly

The inadvertent update had stated that testing for fully vaccinated individuals would be reduced to once per month. A University spokesperson stated that the University has not announced any changes to testing protocol at this point.
