Despite not winning the Ivy League title this year, the field hockey team managed to end this season on a high note. The Tigers dominated Bedford Field against the Columbia Lions this past Saturday, winning 5–1 to close out their season.

Women’s soccer defeats Penn in season finale, earns spot in NCAA tournament

Junior midfielder Marissa Hart scored the lone goal of the game at the Tigers beat Penn 1–0 to wrap up their season. Today, the Tigers were selected to compete in the NCAA tournament and will play Vermont in the first round.

Dartmouth dominates Princeton 31-7, dealing significant blow to Tigers’ Ivy title hopes

The Ivy League-leading #16 Princeton Tigers made the six-hour drive up to Hanover, New Hampshire to take on the Dartmouth Big Green on a frigid Friday night for a matchup that would have a significant impact on the teams’ Ivy League title aspirations. The path to the title got more difficult for the Tigers on Friday, as Dartmouth defeated them 31–7.

Men finish first, women second at the Ivy League Cross Country Championships and look ahead to NCAA Regionals

The men’s cross country team finished first — and the women’s team second — at the Ivy League (Heptagonal) Championships this past Saturday. Both teams look ahead to the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships on Friday, Nov. 12 for a chance to qualify for the National Championships the following weekend.

Walker Gillespie and Daniel Diaz Bonilla scored as men’s soccer took down No. 20 Cornell 2–1 on Saturday to win their 6th straight game and stay atop the Ivy League standings. The Tigers are now 5–0 and have a chance to clinch first place in the Ivy League next weekend with a win at Penn.

On Friday night, the Princeton Tigers traveled to Ithaca to take on the Cornell Big Red for a critical conference matchup. The Tigers came into the game just six days removed from a controversial homecoming win over the then 17th-ranked Harvard Crimson, which saw them emerge victorious after five overtimes by a score of 18–16.

The men’s water polo team traveled on Friday to Santa Clara, Calif. to compete in the Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament, hoping to regain momentum after two losses earlier in the week. The Tigers — ranked No. 12 as of Oct. 20 — defeated Santa Clara University on Friday and split the following day, claiming victory over No. 19 Air Force Academy and losing to No. 10 San Jose State University.
