Both teams look ahead to the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships on Friday, Nov. 12 for a chance to qualify for the National Championships the following weekend.

Coming off a dominant win at the Ivy League championships in 2020, the Princeton women’s swim and dive team was looking forward to defending their title in 2021. Instead, COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the entire season. Now back on track, the team looks forward to next season to try and remain on top.

For Rutgers and no. 3 Princeton men’s lacrosse, it’s been a close two years. On March 10, 2018, the Tigers claimed a 15–14 overtime victory on Sherrerd Field. On March 9, 2019, they fell 9–8 in Piscataway, New Jersey. This weekend, they will face the Scarlet Knights on Sherrerd Field again.
The Bobcats left their mark in Princeton’s record books in 2017 when they defeated the Tigers 3–2 in triple OT of game one in the ECAC Quarterfinals, the longest game in Tiger history. Since then, however, Princeton has dominated them, snuffing that 2017 team by winning the next two in the series, and then winning five of the six meetings since.

Women’s softball will make the long journey to the Lone Star State this weekend for the annual Houston Tournament. From Friday, Feb. 21, to Sunday, Feb. 23, the Tigers will take on Louisiana Tech, Texas Tech, Syracuse, and the University of Houston.
Men's Volleyball will face Penn State on Friday and Saint Francis on Saturday. Princeton beat the Nittany Lions in the finals of the EIVA Championships last April — the Tigers defeated St. Francis in the semifinals of that same tournament.
