Cannady ’19 enters plea deal, receives conditional discharge

Standout men’s basketball player Devin Cannady ’19 entered a plea agreement on Mar. 11 for the four charges brought against him after he allegedly threw a punch at a Department of Public Safety Officer in Wawa on Jan. 18. Three of his four charges were dismissed. For the fourth charge, Cannady received a conditional discharge, and he will serve 20 hours of community service as part of the agreement. According to his attorney, Cannady has plans to return to the University in the fall and will be preparing for the NBA draft while on leave.

Football overwhelms Yale 59–43 to clinch Ivy Title, first bonfire since 2013

Forcing four interceptions on defense, the Tigers head home with an Ivy League Title and the promise of the first bonfire in five years.

ESPN, Ivy League announce ten-year partnership

Last week, ESPN and the Ivy League announced a ten-year deal in which ESPN agreed to cover over 1,100 events annually across 30 sports. Most of these events will be available through ESPN+, a new “upcoming direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service,” with a cost of $4.99 per month. Launching on April 12, ESPN+ is part of a redesigned ESPN app and will also be accessible through ESPN.com.
