The State of Activism

While Princeton has a reputation of apathy towards activism, how activism is practiced on campus cannot be distilled to a monolith. This special supplement from The Daily Princetonian examines the full spread of assumptions about activism on Princeton’s campus. Together, these stories explain how Princeton has balanced two identities — a hub for activist energy and a culture of indifference.

"In this project, the staff of the ‘Prince’ trace power on campus through histories, data analyses, detailed profiles, and deeply-held opinions. It's an issue about personalities. These are personalities we have to be aware of, no matter what their role is."

A project for Indigenous Peoples Day

“This project could not possibly exhaust the stories of Native peoples at Princeton, nor does it aim to. Instead it marks a re-commitment by the ‘Prince’ to welcome Native and Indigenous Princetonians into our paper, on their own terms.”

Looking back, looking forward: The print commencement issue

The Class of 2021 has been defined by shared realities amid unprecedented times: remote learning, virtual community, and a socially distant final semester.
