DISPATCH | Summer fun and Cali sun: Commemorating 2010’s pop songs

“As a result of this new adaptation to adult life, I have learned a few important lessons. For instance, did you know in order to make dinner, you have to predict when you will be hungry an hour in advance?”

DISPATCH | Retracing my steps in the desert

“Every day, there was the same endless blue sky, clear and unforgiving, with the occasional raven soaring past alone. At night, it transformed into an expansive darkness freckled with the most beautiful clear stars.”

For all the tigers’ teachers

“In my case, in the hardest of moments, it has been a teacher’s outstretched hand that has pulled me out and forward. I can think of so many little moments — moments so small I wonder if they even registered as consequential for them but were seismic for me.”

Reflecting on French toast and memory

“In this sense, I am afraid of the “Breezy Point effect,” or that the joyful memories and personal connections from this year will exist only in my memories. In other words, I am worried about losing the wonderful people that I have met and no longer having the chance to create more experiences with them”

Rain and spread out venues don't dampen Princeton’s Porchfest

The Princeton Porchfest is a great way to explore both the local music scene and the town of Princeton. However, I would recommend planning in advance for the best experience, especially in the case of a bad weather forecast.

DJ duo Ziff & Griff talk dirty raves, Charter, and nightlife

"We want to play some songs that are somewhat recognizable, but we want to try to expand this campus’ musical palette a little bit and play music that you might not know but we know you can dance to. You will enjoy it, and it has the elements you're looking for."

“It has been a privilege to be part of it for the past four years. To those still here, treasure it. It is not too late to make lifelong friendships and memories. And when you eventually move on, you will bring with you more than just sweatshirts.”

The Princeton University Orchestra sweeps the stage with powerful performance

Even though the musicians sound professional, practice religiously, and perform in spectacular venues, they are still a campus organization and therefore a community. The quiet giggles between pieces and the heartfelt exchanges with seniors were a clear reminder of their close-knit group.
