We hope that our fellow Princetonians will join us and stand with Ressa in her fearless battle against authoritarian oppression and in preserving the voice of journalism.

So yes, to answer many first-years’ question: part of us does not belong at Princeton. That doesn’t mean we will never belong at Princeton. It just means we need to recognize that college requires a new approach to problem solving and time management.
Though they may not find it glamorous or exciting to think about, students should attempt to travel sustainably in the various breaks that allow for that opportunity. The effects of not doing so are critically detrimental.
If you are like me, you might have not called your parents or any other family members because of convenience or laziness or some other excuse.
Past actions of the Virginia Democratic leadership have called into question their ability to lead and dredged up a long history of discrimination, hatred, and racial and sexual violence.
There is a large yet unrecognized gap of guidance regarding future, planned pregnancies -- and how to incorporate those pregnancies into the lives the University subconsciously encourages its students to lead. A sub-department of Career Services dedicated to advising students on how to include family planning into their career considerations would allow students to work within already-understood paradigms.
Most people scoff at this overplayed cliché. While the recommendation may lack originality, I find it valuable.
It may seem selfish to schedule time to explicitly not to do work, but it’s just giving you both the opportunity and motivation to raise your future productivity. More importantly, you become happier.
When we put people who write very well in classes with people who haven’t written academically or struggle for whatever other reason, we thwart true scholarly progress. Is it really so radical to require everyone to take a PDF-only writing course?
