Israel War Room, an organization with no Princeton affiliation, sponsored a Facebook ad that claimed the recent USG referendum calling on the University to halt its usage of Caterpillar construction machinery had failed to pass. In fact, preliminary results show the referendum passed and the results have yet to be certified.

The referendum received 1,124 votes in favor, or a 52.2 percent majority, according to preliminary results made public early Wednesday. Election results will not be confirmed by USG until Friday afternoon at the earliest.
