The family of graduate student Elizabeth Tsurkov has called on the Biden administration to designate Iraq as a state sponsor of terror for allegedly failing to work for her release from captivity. President Joe Biden is set to welcome Iraq’s Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’a Al-Sudani to the White House on April 15.

Following an announcement of their intent to file a petition with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) to form a union, Princeton University Postdocs and Scholars (PUPS) delivered a letter to Nassau Hall, requesting that the University remain impartial during the election to unionize. This would make PUPS the first academic union on Princeton’s campus to formally seek an election.

The University will aim to increase enrollment of financial aid-eligible students by three percent.
