On Monday, April 22, a TigerAlert from the Office of Information Technology announced that University phones were experiencing a "service disruption." OIT has not yet provided a resolution time, and is currently investigating the issue.

Despite pushback from community members, the University’s decision to terminate the lease of the Nassau Swim Club (NSC) on Tuesday will go forward as planned. This decision follows NSC facing financial difficulties for several years. The University refused the appeal put forth by NSC which included detailed financial plans.

Princeton postdoctoral researchers are set to vote on unionization on May 8 and 9, following an election agreement with the University. This comes after Princeton University Postdocs and Scholars (PUPS) announced that over 65 percent of postdocs had signed union cards.

Following Princeton’s F rating from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) on their college antisemitism report card, Jewish students and the Center for Jewish Life (CJL) pushed back. The ADL then quietly raised Princeton’s grade to a D, but some worry this will deter Jewish students from attending Princeton, despite the vibrant Jewish community on campus.

Effective Fall 2025, passing times between classes will be extended to 15 and 20 minutes, replacing the current 10 minute period. The plan also suggests opening more room in the course grid for precept and course times.
