USLC, VP for Campus Life pilot program deactivating bathroom locks

USG has widely solicited student feedback as they prepare to institute the program, disseminating a survey and hosting two forums for students to ask questions. While Johnson says he believes that “most students. . .will recognize the positives” of the program, Czulak recognizes that the survey results have not been unanimously in favor of the policy, and hopes that the University will be able to follow the consensus of many diverse viewpoints.

Three politicians discuss gender and politics

Former Republican Congresswoman Nan Hayworth ’81, Former Democratic Congresswoman Marjorie Margolies, and 2016 Democratic Congressional candidate and 2012 alumni class president Lindy Li ’12 participated in a panel discussion about navigating a career in politics as a woman.         Hayworth majored in biology at the University and went on to graduate from Cornell University Medical College and practice as an ophthalmologist.

Q&A: Deshawn Cook, Butler College Director of Student Life

Dr. Deshawn Cook was appointed as the new director of student life for Butler College on October 25th, 2016. He came to the University from Drew University, where he served as the assistant director of residential life and the Title IX coordinator. Cook earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an M.A. in Liberal Studies at Ramapo College as well as a Doctor of Letters at Drew University.
