Chitra Parikh ’21 elected USG president, both proposed referenda pass

Chitra Parikh ’21 was elected to be the next Undergraduate Student Government (USG) president with 74 percent of the student body vote, according to an email announcement by USG sent on Friday morning. Both of the proposed referenda on the ballot passed with overwhelming percent of the votes. 

U. offers early admission to 791 students for the Class of 2024

The Office of Admission mailed letter notifications to student applicants on Dec. 12, and the admissions decisions can also be viewed by the applicants through online access starting at 7 p.m.

After being issued a probation on campaigning for promoting his campaign on the USG-run Free Food listserv, Siddiqui was ultimately disqualified due to a Facebook-Messenger-related technicality.

Police investigate train collision near Princeton Junction

U. to present Romero ’87, Thorne GS ’65 with top alumni awards

The Woodrow Wilson Award is given to an alumnus or alumna of the undergraduate college who epitomizes the University’s motto, as coined by Woodrow Wilson, “Princeton in the Nation’s Service.” The James Madison Medal is awarded to an alum of the University graduate school who “has had a distinguished career, advanced the cause of graduate education or achieved a record of outstanding public service,” according to the Alumni Association website.
