NJ executive order rolls out new guidelines for colleges, says ‘hybrid system’ of online and in-person most ‘realistic’

On Wednesday, Governor Phil Murphy announced that the N.J. Office of the Secretary of Higher Education would release guidelines for reopening colleges. Universities must submit their restart plans to the Office at least 14 days before any students or staff return to campus, according to Murphy.

The survey results, released on Saturday, were based on 2,237 total responses and included student feedback on a wide range of issues regarding the COVID-19 crisis’ impact on academics and student life. Each survey question was optional, so each had a different number of total respondents.
