In total, 1,706 alumni, faculty, students, staff, and parents have signed on to their open letter to President Eisgruber, in a pledge not to donate to the University until and unless it commits to divesting from fossil fuels. Divest Princeton’s USG Referendum will be voted on next week.

Anti-Racism Book Initiative to provide over 1,000 ebooks to undergraduates

USG is ordering 645 total copies of each title at about $11 per book — anticipating a total cost of over $14,000. Students will be able to read a book by either Professor Imani Perry or AAS Chair Eddie Glaude. 

Last year, Kwanza Jones ’93 donated $20 million to Princeton. Last week, she called for the removal of Wilson’s name.

For Jones, CEO and co-founder of the SUPERCHARGED Initiative and an alumna of the School of Public and International Affairs, silence on Wilson’s racism was equivalent to “acquiescing” to it.
