Princeton postdoctoral researchers are set to vote on unionization on May 8 and 9, following an election agreement with the University. This comes after Princeton University Postdocs and Scholars (PUPS) announced that over 65 percent of postdocs had signed union cards.

Following an announcement of their intent to file a petition with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) to form a union, Princeton University Postdocs and Scholars (PUPS) delivered a letter to Nassau Hall, requesting that the University remain impartial during the election to unionize. On Sept. 19, a truck with a mounted screen was spotted driving around campus and downtown Princeton, flashing slides with images and messaging targeting the University, President Eisgruber, and the Alliance for Jewish Progressives (AJP). The Jewish Leadership Project (JLP), an independent organization, has claimed responsibility for the truck and messages.
