This Thursday, Terrace Club is kicking off the new semester with a killer lineup, featuring Lindsay Lowend, supported by Princeton’s own DJ combination of noclipand tenr —both skilled producers in their own rights. tenr is an extremely versatile producer and remixer, drawing from an eclectic pool of sounds to create anything from liquid D&B and dubstep to house. Each one of tenr’s tracks and remixes showcases a different side of him, so there will definitely be something for everyone.

noclip will be behind the DJ stand, as well. In December of 2014, I profiled this DJ for the Prince's Street section. Recently, noclip’s track “world-01” (got picked up and released through Diplo’s Mad Decent label and EDM.com. Another diverse producer, noclip has recently been dabbling in future bass sounds, which he incorporates into his chiptune tracks.

These two talented artists have a lot of on-stage chemistry, having frequently performed together before. With a broad taste in electronic music, the duo of tenr & noclip will knock you out with complementary atmospheres and grooves.

But that’s just the warm-up. Hailing from Washington D.C., Lindsay Lowend joins this power duo Thursday night to close out the set. While he has not had many official releases, Lindsay Lowend is a prolific artist on Soundcloud with a following that is growing rapidly. His legendary 2013 EP, Wind Fish, features an assortment of styles, often combining future bass with hip-hop, glitch, and other genres to create a very original and unique sound. “GT40,” arguably the standout track of this EP, tackles the essence of partying and nostalgia simultaneously, resulting in a complex emotional provocation. Meanwhile, tracks like “It’s George” and “Wind Fish” show off Lindsay Lowend’s jazzy side, stringing together seemingly unconnected synths and samples to create a midtempo groove. While Lindsay Lowend is not a household name yet, very few artists out there are able to blend such Jersey Club and future styles with such ease.

If you’re a fan of electronic music, there is simply no excuse to miss such a stellar lineup of up-and-comers and future bass masters. And even if you’re not, don’t miss what will undoubtedly be one of the chillest nights of year. Lindsay Lowend, noclip, and tenr will transport you to the future, where it’s all about getting into that perfect groove.
