On a drizzly Saturday, over a thousand community members gathered in Hinds Plaza in downtown Princeton, N.J., spilling out into the street, to protest various aspects of the Trump administration. As part of “Hands Off!” protests across the nation on Apr. 5, the demonstration attracted a broad base of support, ranging from retirees with experience in the student movements of the 60s to young children protesting for their first time.
