Record Exchange manager charged with sexual contact

A longtime employee of the Princeton Record Exchange was charged with aggravated criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child last Tuesday by the Princeton Police.

Brian Dorbach, 50, of Roebling, allegedly engaged in multiple acts of sexual contact in various locations in Princeton with a 16-year-old female with special needs between January 2011 and December 2012, according to the police.

Dornbach was allegedly acquainted with the victimís family, but was alone with the victim when the alleged acts of sexual contact occurred.

He was released after posting 10 percent of his $50,000 bail. He is expected to appear in court on Monday.

Dornbach served as a manager of the Princeton Record Exchange on South Tulane Street, where he has worked since the store's opening in 1980.

"We are shocked by these allegations," said Jon Lambert, general manager of the store. "Mr. Dornbach is presently on administrative leave and we have no further comment at the present time."

Dornbach's phone number is not listed. Casey DeBlasio, spokesperson for the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office, said she would not have any information on the case until Dornbach's Jan. 14 court date and said she did not know if Dornbach currently has an attorney.

Princeton Police Captain Nick Sutter also did not respond to requests for comment.
