A book written by the current managing editor of The Harvard Crimson Julie Zauzmer about a former student who gained admission to Harvard after submitting a fraudulent application will be released next Tuesday.
Zauzmer and fellow Harvard student Xi Yu covered the news for The Harvard Crimson when the newspaper began writing about the story in 2010. The former student, Adam B. Wheeler, applied to Harvard using fraudulent SAT scores, high school transcripts and letters of recommendation.

Zauzmer built on the reporting she and Xu had done for the newspaper in the book, titled “Conning Harvard: Adam Wheeler, the Con Artist Who Faked His Way into the Ivy League.”
