The first game extended into extra points, as both teams fought off multiple game points before three straight from the Tigers gave the hosts a 31-29 victory. Princeton had a much easier time with the second game, winning 10 of the first 11 points and rolling to a dominating 25-11 win.
After Baruch took the third set 25-23, the Tigers cruised to a 25-15 victory in the fourth to put the match away.
Freshman outside hitter Cody Kessel led the hosts with 20 kills and nine blocks. Sophomore setter Davis Waddell, taking the place of senior Scott Liljestrom, recorded 34 assists and five blocks.
The Tigers have two matches remaining on their regular-season schedule — their home finale against NJIT on Wednesday and a trip to George Mason on Saturday. Princeton needs to win both contests to keep its hopes of qualifying for the four-team EIVA playoffs alive.
