Shon, who competed at the U.S. Women’s Open and other prestigious tournaments this summer, shot a three-over-par 75 in Sunday’s opening round and stood in fourth place at the halfway point. She posted a 74 over the final 18 holes to finish at plus-5 and tie with Newberry’s Maria Luz Besio for individual honors.
After shooting a first-round 74, Choi was tied with two other competitors, including Besio, for the top position. She followed with a 78 in Monday’s second round, finishing in a five-way tie for third place at three strokes behind the leaders.
Appalachian State won the team title with a combined score of 621. Princeton finished with a total of 647, one stroke behind Brown, the only other Ivy League team in the field.
Princeton’s next competition will come at the Hoya Invitational on April 2-3.
