Boyce entered the meet with the 27th fastest qualifying time but finished three-tenths of a second off of her previous best of 22.45 seconds, which she swam to win the event at the Ivy League Championships last month. She also won league titles in the 100 free and 100 backstroke, helping lead Princeton to a second-place finish.
She will swim both of those events as well this weekend. The 100 backstroke will take place on Friday, while the 100 freestyle will be swum on Saturday. Boyce entered the meet with the 30th and 37th best qualifying times in those two events, respectively.
