News & Notes: Campbell appointed director of campus services

The position was created as a part of the University’s current effort to integrate services across campus. In her new position, Campbell will have oversight over offices as diverse as Dining Services and Richardson Auditorium.

As co-chair of the Alcohol Coalition Committee and director of campus life initiatives, Campbell helped coordinate the opening of Campus Club and organized efforts to reduce high-risk drinking on campus. She is also leading the group that is planning the reintroduction of a campus pub, potentially in Cafe Vivian.

Her new supervisor, Vice President for University Services Chad Klaus, said in a press release that Campbell’s position will focus on coordination between offices.

“One of the big undertakings will be to help University Services rethink the model for how our community interacts with and receives services — both physically and virtually,” Klaus said.
