Harris-Perry left the University last February after claiming that “[her] colleagues did not value [her] intellectual contributions,” as she told The Daily Princetonian at the time.
Harris-Perry, now a political science professor at Tulane University, makes frequent appearances on various MSNBC programs including The Rachel Maddow Show, PoliticsNation and The Last Word, according to a press release on her website.
“This is an extraordinary opportunity,” she said in the release. “I’m particularly excited to join the growing weekend lineup where we have a chance to take a longer and broader view of the week’s political news.”
The show will debut on Feb. 4 on the cable network.
