Princeton saw strong performances throughout the two-day meet, with athletes posting a total of six personal records and several top finishes. The Tigers faced off against runners from universities such as Notre Dame, California Polytechnic State University and the Air Force Academy, and most runners were from west of the Mississippi.
Sophomore mid-distance runner Russell Dinkins clocked in at one minute, 50.82 seconds to finish first among collegiate runners in the 800m. The only runner to outpace Dinkins overall was Nike runner David Torrence, who finished with a time of 1:50.47. Dinkins was on the verge of winning his section when Torrence snuck ahead on the final straightaway.
Junior mid-distance runner Trevor Van Ackeren took fourth place in his section, finishing at 1:52.57, followed by classmate distance runner Joe Stilin, who took eleventh with 1:55.24. Senior Jordan Sawadogo finished at 1:53.06 to place eighth in the second section.
Stilin posted a personal best in the 1,500m with a time of 3:53.59. His time earned him fourth place in the third section of the race. Sophomore distance runner George Galasso took ninth place in the sixth section with a time of 3:59.90.
In the first section of the 5,000m, senior distance runner Mark Amirault and junior distance runner Donn Cabral each set personal records to finish fourth and sixth, respectively. Amirault finished with 13:45.69 while Cabral clocked in at 13:46.50. Senior distance runner Kyle Soloff placed 17th in the section with a time of 14:06.89.
Freshman distance runner Chris Bendtsen placed third in section two of the 5,000m, improving on his previous best by 14 seconds to post 14:04.83. In the same section, classmate distance runner Alejandro Arroyo Yamin finished with a personal best of 14:25.04.
Junior distance runner Brian Leung ran a 29:09.94 in the 10,000m to place 12th.
