In addition to the departure of men's basketball head coach Bill Carmody, there were several other coaching changes over the summer. Softball head coach Cindy Cohen accepted an administrative position in the University of Rochester's athletics department and women's baskerball head coach Liz Feeley took the head coaching job at Smith.
In addition to these departures, Len Quesnelle was named the new head coach of the men's hockey team.
